Before you play the alpha

1. Your invitation

• Your invitation and account are for you alone. Don't share your sign-in, or let anyone else play on it.
• You must be 18 or older.
• The alpha is free. Taking part doesn't include a copy of the finished game unless we tell you otherwise in writing.

2. It's unfinished

The alpha is a test build. Expect bugs, crashes, missing features and things that change or disappear between builds. Worlds and saves may stop working with a later build or be reset, so don't rely on keeping them. The alpha is provided as it is, without any promise that it works or suits any purpose, and, as far as the law allows, Gaddr Games isn't liable for any loss that comes from playing it. Nothing here limits rights the law won't let us limit.

3. Keeping the alpha private

• Don't share, upload or pass on the alpha's builds, downloads or launcher, or get round the sign-in that protects them.
• Don't stream, post videos or publish screenshots of the alpha without asking us first at [email protected]. Talking about it with other testers is fine.
• This lasts until the alpha ends or we make the game public, whichever comes first.

4. Your feedback

Bug reports, crash logs, ideas and comments are the point of the alpha. When you send them, you allow Gaddr Games to use them freely to improve LostVale, Ragnavoxel and our other work, without owing you anything for it. Please don't send anything you don't have the right to share.

5. Playing fair

Don't use the alpha to harm other people, our servers or anyone's computer. If something lets you do that, report it to us rather than using it.

6. When it ends

We can end the alpha, or your place in it, at any time, and you can leave at any time. When it ends for you, stop playing the alpha builds and delete them. Sections 3 and 4 carry on afterwards. Your account and what we keep about it are covered by the privacy policy.

7. Who you're agreeing with, and which law applies

This agreement is between you and Gaddr Games, a business registered under an assumed name (DBA) in Texas, USA. Texas law governs it, apart from any rules of the law where you live that can't be set aside by agreement.

8. Changes

We may update this agreement during the alpha. We'll email you about any change that matters before it applies, and you can leave the alpha if you don't accept it.
